Position Title: Project Manager

Position Description:  Responsible for planning the tasks, milestones and deadlines necessary to meet or exceed the client's stated objectives on time and within budget; organizing the personnel and their activities; directing one or more project teams; and ensuring the timely and cost-effective accomplishment of contractual commitments. Responsible for providing oral and written communication with various levels of management. Evaluates software/hardware and make recommendations. May be required to perform a variety of management functions. Duties may include assisting in the preparation of technical documents, proposals, reports, training, presentations and briefings.

Requirements:

• Masters Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business Administration, Management,  Management Information Systems, Human Resources or other related scientific or technical discipline. Vast experience may be substituted for education.
• Certification (e.g., PMP, Six Sigma, CMC)
• Demonstrated progressive information systems experience including planning and managing large information system projects using industry accepted standards such as ITIL, IEEE, CMMi, CobIT, etc.
• Broad knowledge of software development methodologies, project management methodologies, systems engineering methodologies, network topologies, standard network architectures, operating systems and information technologies.
• Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.
• Experience providing technical direction.
